Getting to know TGPS
Instructional Programmes We value pupils’ learning here in TGPS. Through our instructional programmes, we aim to provide our learners with the experiences and skills to nurture lifelong learners. |
Back to School Programmes (BTS) In TGPS, we place equal emphasis on our TGStars’ social and emotional learning, just like how we value teaching and learning. We believe in educating the whole child and as such, their development would be holistic. Our signature Back to School programme at TGPS is one of the many ways in which we develop our pupils in this aspect. |
Programme for Active Learning (PAL) PAL at TGPS provides our Primary 1 and 2 TGStars with exposure in Sports and Outdoor Education, and Performing and Visual Arts. With this, we aim to facilitate the well-rounded development of our pupils in the five learning domains (cognitive, moral, social, aesthetics and physical). |
Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) Our TGStars are provided with varied and authentic opportunities to develop character and other competencies through their CCA. Learning that spans across the co-curricular programmes include core values, social-emotional and the 21st century competencies. In TGPS, we design and deliver co-curricular programmes that ater to the learning and developmental needs of our pupils, thereby proving them with a holistic education. |
Active Recess @ TGPS Active Recess @ TGPS provides our TGStars with an additional platform to engage in physical activity. It encourages students to adopt physical activity as part of their daily lives. The opportunity to take part in unstructured play allows students the freedom to explore, create and discover. |
Student Leadership Programme At TGPS, every child is a leader. From leading self and peer to leading teams and finally, leading the school and the community. We believe in equipping every TGSTAR with the necessary skills and dispositions of a leader and providing relevant opportunities for them to exercise their leadership. |
TGPS Virtual School Tour Our TGStars will take you on a virtual school tour to different parts of the school compound. They will share with you how learning and playing take place in the various locations. |
The TGPS Experience - Transiting to Primary 1 Stepping up from preschool to primary school is filled with changes. Here in TGPS, we do our best to help our young TGStars make the transition. Let one of our Primary 2 TGStar share her experience on transiting to Primary 1. |
