Travel Declaration for Year-End Holidays

Dear Parent/Guardian,
MOH has advised Singapore residents to defer all travel overseas, with the exception of travel to an evolving list of countries, where COVID-19 is under control and the risk of importation is low. To ensure schools continue to be a healthy and safe environment for all, we require parents/guardians to make a travel declaration only if your child/ward intends to travel for the year-end holidays. NIL returns are not required. To make your travel declaration via Parents' Gateway, go to [SERVICE > DECLARE TRAVELS]. Please declare your child/ward’s travel plans, indicating both the country and city of travel, and any city of transit, by 30 Oct (Friday). Only one parent is required to declare. In planning your travel, please refer to the attached advisory on travelling. If there is a change of travel plans after declaration, please inform the school directly rather than through Parents’ Gateway.
A hard-copy form was issued to students whose parents are not onboard Parents' Gateway.
Thank you for your partnership and support to keep our school safe.

From Us to You: Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Curious!

Dear Parent/Guardian, Unlike previous mid-year holidays, your children will be spending their holiday at home. In case you're wondering how you can occupy them, we've pulled together some activities that you can do as a family while staying home during the May holidays. Take this chance to strengthen bonds, have fun and keep on learning! We have uploaded an SLS lesson package (titled: "From Us to You: Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Curious!") that is specially curated by our TGPS teachers to encourage your children to be meaningfully engaged during the mid-year school holidays. Do log in to the SLs and try out some of the fun and interesting activities with your children. We are very sure that you will enjoy it too. In addition, we have also attached the Parent Kit (School Holiday Edition) that is prepared by MOE, for more ideas on what your family could do together during the holidays. Take care and we'll see you soon.

DECLARATION OF TRAVEL PLANS FOR MARCH SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Dear Parents/Guardians

DECLARATION OF TRAVEL PLANS FOR MARCH  SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

MOH has issued an update on additional precautionary measures on 25 Feb 2020, advising Singapore residents to defer all travel to Hubei Province, and avoid non-essential travel to affected areas as announced in MOH travel advisories. As of 1 Mar 2020, affected areas include Mainland China (outside Hubei), Daegu and Cheongdo in South Korea. Please refer to MOH’s travel advisories for the updated list of affected areas.  Many countries have imposed travel restrictions against travellers from affected countries as precautionary measures.

As part of our efforts to ensure a healthy and safe school environment in light of the COVID-19 situation, we would require travel declarations for all students for the March holidays. This information will better help the school to plan and take the necessary precautions.

Please declare your child/ward’s travel plans over the March holidays. Please take note of the following:

1. Only one parent is required to declare.

2. If your child/ward is travelling, please indicate clearly both the country and city of travel.

3. If you have more than one child and the declaration details are the same, please select all of them and make only one declaration, even if they are in different schools.

4. Those travelling to Johor Bahru, Malaysia, for day-trips are required to declare as well.

5. A declaration is also required if your child/ward is not travelling.

6. Please refer to the instructions on how to submit the travel declaration using the Parents Gateway (PG) apps.

 Thank you for your support.

Let us all play our part in keeping good personal hygiene and taking social responsibility. There may be some inconveniences as preventive steps are taken, but together we can keep our children safe while minimising disruption to learning.
